Q. When did you join the company?

A. I originally joined as part of the housekeeping team in May 2015, I was offered a management roll later on in the year and started training for my position as assistant manager.

Q. Where were you working before joining the team at the Fleece?

A. I was working at a take away in my home town of Blaenau Ffestiniog

Q.Whats a normal day for you at the Fleece?

A. I take a lot of calls from customers they can be enquiries about bed and breakfast, restaurant reservations, private parties, funeral teas, pre wedding dinners,  conferences and then there is calls from suppliers, the list is endless really. Other than that I make sure our B&B guests are happy, I check them in and welcome them here or I check them out and wish them a safe journey onwards depending on whether I’m on a morning duty or evening. I also do a lot of office work dealing with reports, ordering stock and  co-ordinating general maintenance.

Q. What is your favourite part of your job?

A. I enjoy making sure that everything is in place for the day ahead, there no better feeling than a shift running smoothly! Happy customers make for a happy day.

Q.What has been the hardest part of your job?

A. I guess getting to grip everything on the management side of things was a big learning curve for me. There is lots of aspects to my roll which I had never done before.

Q. When your not at the Fleece what do you most enjoy doing?

A. To be honest I think I’m quite normal I just enjoy relaxing at home with my boyfriend and socialising with friends… It’s nice to be a customer on my days off.
