What a great nights stay at The Golden Fleece inn, lovely evening meal and breakfast. Staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Located in a pretty village. Would highly recommend it, We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area.
We live less than 20 minutes from the Fleece but hadn’t visited until last night. Now we wish we’d been regulars for years! We booked a table for the family; very courteous staff member on the phone, great start! Upon arrival, the kids did their usual routine if running on ahead, rather than waiting to be shown to the table! It didn’t faze the staff, they just seemed genuinely happy to see us. We were shown straight to the table that had been prepared for us in a lovely room; part rustic with some modern features. The menu was straightforward and had something for everybody; the vegetarian wasn’t disappointed! Drinks arrived in no time and the wait for food was more than acceptable. It was very well presented but far more importantly, tasted great! Our kids aren’t easily pleased but we didn’t hear a peep from them as they tucked in! Always a good sign! The waiting staff were great; even the request for a bowl of chopped cucumber to quieten the grumpy toddler was met with polite efficiency! It’s reasonably priced and worth every penny. We have struggled to find somewhere that offers all of the above, now we know where to go!
We stayed at the hotel Room was good had all we needed, location was great We ate in restaurant food was brill, staff great Would recommend
The best place to rest mind body and soul!! Staff incredibly helpful happy and nice. Going back soon…for sure
Travelling from North To South and in need of a drink we came off the bypass into Tremadog. We were looking for a tea room, however the place we thought we new only served lunches and evening meals and was closed. We had stopped at the Golden Fleece once before and so went in and enquired about having a pot of tea? The Lady behind the bar was welcoming and offered us cups in a choice of sizes. We opted for Medium and were shortly served with big mugs of steaming tea……, just what was required on a cold wet February Afternoon. Would definitely call again and Tremadog is worth a quick diversion off the bypass. Will be calling again
We ate here one evening. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We sat in the snug by reception where there was plenty of room for our dog. The owners were very dog friendly and she got lots of fuss. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Definately worth another visit.
