Best Things to do in North Wales this Spring

Spring is well and truly here and it is time to blow away those cobwebs, get out there and enjoy the great outdoors. Walking

From Snowdonia to Anglesey, North Wales has some truly fantastic walks just waiting for you. Whether you are a novice walker or a seasoned rambler there are plenty of different treks (both long and short) to choose from that will take you through some of the most spectacular scenery. There are several different paths around Snowdonia that are well worth exploring. Alternatively, for those people who prefer a more coastal walk, why not head out to Anglesey and enjoy one of several circular walks along the coastal pathways.

Beaches

The beach in North Wales might not be your first choice of destination in Spring. However, this is a perfect time of year to brave the beach and really explore and children will love it. Whether you go searching for shells or peering into rock pools, the beach in spring can be a great place to explore. Just remember to dress warmly as that sea breeze can be a little chilly.

Castles

With around 23 castles and ruins in North Wales you really should make time to visit at least one during your time in the area. From the majestic beauty of Conwy Castle to the stunning design of Caernarfon Castle there is so much history in North Wales just waiting to be explored.
